"Not a welcoming experience at all"
The customer service was really disappointing. I asked a couple of basic questions and the responses I got were short and kind of rude, like I was annoying them just by asking. It didn’t feel welcoming or respectful at all. What made it worse was that nobody followed up afterward either, so it felt like they just didn’t care. For the amount of money people spend on trips like this, I’d expect at least a little courtesy. It left a bad impression, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable booking with them again

"Not much to see, at least when I went"
Maybe I just picked a bad time, but I don’t remember seeing much activity at all. The place felt quiet and empty, and the main thing that stuck with me was how few birds were actually around.

"Good guide, but don’t expect a super relaxed pace"
Our guide showed up on time and definitely knew the area well, so I’ll give credit there. Everything felt organized and professional. That said, a few times when we asked questions, it felt like we were being rushed along instead of given a chance to really take things in. It wasn’t a bad experience at all, but for the price, I was hoping for a little more patience and interaction. If you’re planning to book, I’d say it’s worth going in with your main questions ready so you can ask early.

"Didn’t feel worth the price"
I really wanted to like this, but for what I paid, I was expecting a lot more. A few things were decent, so it wasn’t terrible, but overall it just felt overpriced for the experience. Like, make it make sense, if you’re charging that much, the quality should match. I probably wouldn’t book again.

"Bad Booking and Zero Communication"
I’m really angry about this. The booking was handled badly, and then nobody even bothered to get back to me. I was left waiting with no updates, no explanation, nothing. That’s on them, and it made the whole experience incredibly frustrating.
"Felt safe, but the organization could be better"
I booked through americanflywaywaterfowl.com, and overall it felt safe enough. I’m usually a little wary when companies use super polished wording that sounds like it came straight from a brochure, but I didn’t get any major sketchy vibes here. They gave the basic info, and I felt okay moving forward.
The part that could’ve been better was the organization. A few details felt scattered, and I had to ask questions that probably should’ve been answered upfront. It wasn’t a bad experience, just not as smooth as I would’ve liked. I’d give it 3 stars.

"Lodge was just okay"
The hunting was fine overall, but the lodge felt around a bit run down and the amenities were basic. I expected about a little more comfort for the stay.

"I was happy with this setup overall..."
I was happy with this setup overall, the blind looked good out in the field and blended in better than I expected, and the decoys held up well through a few uses without looking cheap or falling apart, so for the price I’d say it did exactly what I needed it to do.
